The dogs were inadvertently let off the owner's property on the 9000 block of Winterest Drive in Manassas, on Monday, June 26, city police said.

One of the dogs bit a child, and then a relative who tried pulling the animal off, police said. A neighbor who came outside to assist with the second dog was bitten, too.

Both dogs were under quarantine and the owner is required to come up with a safety plan for letting their dogs off the property, authorities said.
